1. Using the service
FriendPDF provides browser-based document editing, conversion and extraction tools. By using the site, you accept these terms and agree to use the service lawfully.
2. Your documents
You keep every right you hold in your files. You are responsible for having permission to process them. FriendPDF does not receive or store the contents of documents processed locally.
3. Results and backups
Results can vary according to PDF structure, fonts, encryption and available memory. Review generated files before relying on them and keep a copy of every original.
4. Availability
The service is offered free of charge and may change, pause or remove functions. We do not guarantee continuous availability or compatibility with every document and device.
5. Third-party software
The site uses open-source components including pdf-inspector, pdf-lib, PDF.js and fflate under their respective licenses.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FriendPDF is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for data loss, indirect damage or decisions made from an incorrect result. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
